In order to participate in Shabbat and holiday prayers in synagogues in Rome, you must register in advance by Friday at 2:00 PM on the website of the Rabbinate of Rome.
After registration, you will receive a confirmation email.

  • The Great Synagogue

    Located on the banks of the Tiber River in the center of Rome.
    An impressive and beautiful synagogue with a square dome (unlike the round domes of churches).
    At the entrance to the synagogue, you must pass a security check by security guards and present a passport.
    Saturday prayers are in the style of the Bnei Romi with a choir accompanying the cantor, a unique experience.
