The Great Synagogue
Located on the banks of the Tiber River in the center of Rome.
An impressive and beautiful synagogue with a square dome (unlike the round domes of churches).
At the entrance to the synagogue, you must pass a security check by security guards and present a passport.
Saturday prayers are in the style of the Bnei Romi with a choir accompanying the cantor, a unique experience.On Saturday, when it is not possible to carry passports due to the prohibition of tiltul (there is no arov in Rome), you must register by Friday at 2:00 PM and make sure you have received approval.
