Kosher Restaurants in Vienna - Kosher Food 2026
Last updated: March 2026
There is plenty of kosher food and a large variety of kosher restaurants in Vienna. It’s one of the European cities where it is very easy for kosher observant to get along. The city of Vienna has a kosher supermarket, kosher bakeries, kosher restaurants in all styles, a deli and even a strictly kosher ice cream.
Most of the kosher restaurants in Vienna are concentrated in the Jewish area, which is the second quarter (Leopoldstadt). An exception is the Alef Alef restaurant located in the first district of Vienna, adjacent to the Great Synagogue.
During my visit to the city of Vienna, I sampled a large part of the kosher restaurants in the city, and I enjoyed the varied offer and the pleasant service.
