There are no truly kosher hotels in Krakow, but there are hotels and apartments suitable for observant guests.

These are recommended places to stay in the Jewish quarter in Krakow, close to kosher restaurants and synagogues. In some hotels a kosher breakfast is served and most of them also have a regular key on Shabbat. There are also hotels that offer the option of ordering kosher Shabbat meals.

Best Hotels in Krakow

The following hotels are especially suitable for kosher observers guests in Budapest:

  • Hotel Eden 

    An excellent hotel in the centre of the Jewish quarter, one minute from Isaac Shul, two minutes from the Rama Synagogue and close to most Jewish sites and kosher restaurants. The hotel is located in a quiet and pleasant area, and offers a shuttle service to/from the airport. Excellent service.

    You can order kosher meals (meat only) under the supervision of Rabbi Eliezer Gur Aryeh, Chabad Kraków. You can eat on the spot, or take a package, for groups you must arrange in advance by phone.

Miri, who stayed at the Holiday Inn Krakow hotel and ordered a kosher Shabbat dinner, says:
The hotel staff set the table with disposable dishes. For NIS 130 per portion, we received a full and respectable Shabbat meal that is enough for at least two. The meal included salmon fish, soup, a few slices of kogel noodles, vegetable pie, rice, boiled vegetables, fruit, a bottle of cola, a bottle of natural juice, whole raw vegetables, a cake and more.
The kosher meals have to be ordered a few hours in advance in the hotel lobby (because it has to be thawed from deep freezing).
Shabbat must be ordered before Shabbat, and indicate approximately the time of the meal.

  • PURO Kraków Kazimierz 

    An excellent and modern 4-star hotel in the Jewish Quarter, a few minutes’ walk from the Jewish Museum, the ancient synagogue and other interesting sites. The hotel is close to kosher restaurants, includes a pampering spa and a gym and even offers free bicycles for guests to use.

    An excellent and inexpensive 4-star hotel in the centre of the Jewish quarter, close to the Rama Synagogue. The rooms are air-conditioned and include a minibar, safe and electric kettle. The hotel is accessible to the disabled.

  • Hotel Rubinstein

    4-star hotel in the Kazimierz district of Krakow, a minute’s walk from the Rama Synagogue. Excellent and central location in the old city.

    An excellent apartment hotel in the heart of the Jewish quarter, a minute from Isaac Shul.

    The apartments are suitable for up to 6 people, some of them are air-conditioned (please note when booking the apartment for air-conditioning). They include a kitchen/van with refrigerator, stove, microwave, electric kettle and coffee machine. There is also a washing machine.

Suitable for Shabbat observers: a mechanical (manual) key, cancel the lighting sensors on Shabbat upon request.
