Venice is one of the few cities in the world (outside of Israel, of course) that offers an elegant Eruv on Shabbat. This fact is an attractive factor for observant travelers who choose to come to Venice for Shabbat. It is very convenient to spend Shabbat in Venice, it offers a selection of synagogues for prayer and various options for kosher Shabbat meals and as mentioned, it has a Eruv that encompasses significant parts of the city.

Locanda del Ghetto
A kosher hotel in the center of the Jewish ghetto in Venice, right below the Italian Synagogue. Breakfast is served at the hotel, which also includes kosher groceries.
The rooms are air-conditioned and there is also WIFI (for a fee). An excellent location for those who observe Mitzvot, close to synagogues and kosher shops.
Suitable for Shabbat Observant: regular mechanical key, leaving constant lights on on Shabbat, very close to the Chabad house.

A strictly kosher hotel in the heart of the ghetto, with air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi.
Incredibly suitable for Shabbat and Kosher Observant: a strictly kosher breakfast (Chalav Yisrael) is served at the place, the hotel has a complete solution for Shabbat Observant (mechanical key, Shabbat elevator, samovar etc.) and even a Mikveh.

La Casa Veneziana
Excellent vacation apartment in Venice, a minute away from the restaurant “Gham Gham” Hachshara, 5 minutes walk from the Chabad house.
The apartment is in an excellent location in the center of Venice, spacious and air-conditioned and has 3 bedrooms. There is a balcony with a great view of the canals. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, oven, stove, electric kettle and even a coffee machine. There is also a washing machine.
Hotel Amadeus
A very good 4-star hotel. It is a 5-minute walk from the train station (important! There are no taxis in Venice and you have to carry your luggage in your hands), and close to the Jewish ghetto. The room doors have regular keys for Shabbat.
Appartamento Corte Zappa
A lovely and clean apartment 2 minutes away from the Chabad house and the kosher shops in the ghetto. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen (great for kosher observant) and is suitable for a couple + a child or two.
Guglie Design Apartments

Suitable for Shabbat Observers: the entrance key to the apartments is regular (mechanical-manual) and there are no sensors. It is within reasonable walking distance of the synagogue, the Chabad house and the kosher restaurants.
