There is no kosher hotel in Geneva, but the following hotels are recommended and suitable for observant guests. These are hotels close to a Chabad house or a synagogue, and in some of them it is also possible to order kosher meals in advance.
Fraser Suites Geneva
An excellent and highly recommended apartment hotel in the heart of Geneva, 6 minutes’ walk from the Great Synagogue and 20 minutes from the Chabad House. The 4-star hotel is accessible to the disabled and includes a gym and free laundry facilities.
The apartments and suites are well maintained and air conditioned. They include a kitchen equipped with a kettle, fridge, microwave and stove and even a washing machine.
Sagitta Swiss Quality Hotel
A very good and inexpensive hotel in a great location in the centre of Geneva, about a ten minute walk from the famous fountain. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Geneva Chabad House. All rooms are air-conditioned, spacious and include a kitchenette with a refrigerator and stove. Private parking (for a fee) and two minutes from the train station.
Hôtel Pax
A good hotel in the centre of Geneva, 2 minutes’ walk from the Chabad House. The rooms are air-conditioned and include a coffee machine, some are suitable for families.
Le Richemond
An excellent 5-star hotel on the shores of Lake Geneva. The rooms are huge and air-conditioned and overlook a wonderful view of the fountain and Mont Blanc. The rooms have a safe and ironing facilities, and some also have a coffee machine. The hotel has a spa and gym.
It is about a fifteen-minute walk from the Great Synagogue of Geneva, and about twenty-five minutes from the Chabad House.
Hotel Beau Rivage
A 5-star hotel in the centre of Geneva, about fifteen minutes’ walk from the Great Synagogue. The hotel has a gym, and it is accessible to the disabled.
The rooms are large and air-conditioned, and include a bath, safe, minibar and coffee machine. Kosher meals can be ordered in advance.
Four Seasons Hotel
An excellent 5-star hotel on the shores of Lake Geneva. The hotel is designed in a luxurious and elegant style, and includes a health and spa center, an indoor swimming pool overlooking the view, and a gym.
The rooms are large and air-conditioned, and include a minibar, electric kettle, coffee machine, bathtub and other amenities.
The location of the hotel is excellent – on the shore of the lake, about ten minutes’ walk from the Great Synagogue. Groups can order kosher dishes in advance.
Fairmont Grand Hotel
(former Kempinski) – a great and luxurious hotel on the shores of Lake Geneva. The hotel overlooks a wonderful view of the famous fountain, Mont Blanc peak and the Alps on the horizon.
The rooms are spacious and decorated and include air conditioning, bathtub, safe, minibar, coffee/tea making facilities and other amenities.
The hotel has a gym, a spa and an extra large indoor swimming pool. About 17 minutes’ walk from the Great Synagogue. Kosher meals can be arranged and ordered in advance
President Wilson
A great 5-star hotel on the Lake Geneva promenade, about a twenty-minute walk from the Great Synagogue. The hotel has a gym, a spa center and an outdoor swimming pool. The rooms are extremely large and air-conditioned, and include a minibar and a coffee machine. Possibility to order kosher meals in advance.
